Pumpkin-Ridge-Golf-Club

“Pure. Golf. Experience. A world apart, Pumpkin Ridge is the best of both worlds.”

– Tom Cade, PNGA

Set amongst virgin farmland, twenty miles west of Portland, Oregon, are two premier champion courses – one private, one public. Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club opened in 1992 and quickly became a popular tournament course, hosting the U.S. Women’s Open in 1997 and 2003. From 2009 to 2012, it was the annual host for the Safeway Classic each August. Both Pumpkin Ridge’s two courses were carved by renowned golf course architect Bob Cupp, providing players with lush greens for respite, relaxation and adventure.

Ghost Creek

Ghost Creek is Pumpkin Ridge’s public course. Its classic design perfectly highlights Portland’s natural beauty, drawing toward a link-style course with its organic wetlands weaved and untouched throughout. This 71-par, 6,839-yard course features mountain vistas lined by green pines. During the time of its opening in 1992, Golf Digest dubbed it the best new course in the country and continues to consistently rank as a top contender. Ghost Creek is notorious for its devilish 14th hole, identified as one of golf’s 100 Toughest Holes.

Witch-Hollow

Witch Hollow

One of the nation’s best classic-style courses, Witch Hollow, winds through Portland’s natural scenery with undulating fairways and stretching greens. It was on this course in 1996 that a young 20-year-old Tiger Woods clenched his unprecedented third consecutive title to turn him pro. Witch Hollow is Pumpkin Ridge’s private course, providing unlimited golf course access to its members. Other membership benefits include luxurious clubhouse amenities, superior service and access to private events.

Pumpkin Ridge Golf Course has been renowned for hosting nationally significant tournaments since its opening. The same flawless tournament planning and execution is offered to all golfers as well.

In addition, Pumpkin Ridge’s memorable locale is also available for hosting tournament-style fundraising, corporate, travel, team building and customer appreciation events. Professional staff takes care of your tournament from planning through execution – all you have to do is play.
