Taking a golf trip to Geneva National Resort and Club

What makes the tourist town of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin so inviting? Could it be the enjoyable water sports available on the second-deepest 7.5-mile lake in the state? Or the boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment found in the heart of downtown? We believe it’s all of this and more.

Visiting Geneva National Resort and Club

Signature Courses

Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Lee Trevino all were on the course during the design process of the three courses on property. The three came and played their courses once completed. Geneva National has meticulously maintained these layouts and landscapes.

The recently upgraded greenside bunkers on the Palmer and Trevino courses are filled with thick kinetic Moon Sand. The Palmer greenside bunkers are being converted to Better Billy Bunkers in Fall 2019.

The Palmer Course

Hole 17 is ranked #11 in Arnie’s personal Dream 18 in the eastern states. The 573-yard par 5 features a green that looks like it’s in the middle of a lake. The course winds through rolling woods and concludes with the three final holes directly along Lake Como.

The Player Course

One of the best Gary Player designed courses is the Player Course at Geneva National

Hole 10, a par-5 offers a downhill green that sits along a pond and hits toward the 100-year-old Crane mansion. This is the only Player designed course in the state which takes advantage of the natural wetland and woodland surroundings that feature massive elevation changes.

The Trevino Course

Golfing at The Trevino Course at Geneva National

This is the only Trevino-designed course in the Midwest. With dog-leg rights on nearly every par 4 and 5, this course plays to his natural shot shape. The course features an elevated tee box and a hidden creek guarding the green.
