This first-of-its-kind tournament is designed to unite golfers of all ages and skill levels in a family-focused event series. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting started, the Omni Generation Cup has something for everyone. It’s the perfect chance to create lasting memories with your loved ones, enjoying the game together in a fun and inclusive environment.
With events taking place at Omni Hotels & Resorts locations across the nation, there’s no need to worry about distance; you can join the excitement no matter where you’re located. From the picturesque Omni Grove Park Inn in North Carolina to the sun-soaked Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in California, the Generation Cup is set to bring family, competition, and camaraderie to some of the most beautiful golf destinations in the country.
Who Can Play
So, who can participate? Anyone within your family that is part of a generation. Two-person teams can compete in one of three divisions:
- Grandparent & Grandchild*
- Parent & Child or Aunt/Uncle & Niece/Nephew*
- PGA Professional & Generational Family Member*
*USGA handicap required
How It Works
The event format is a two-person modified best ball, scramble. The top gross and net teams from each division will advance to the National Championship. The cost to participate in a qualifying event is $250/team for Omni club members and PGA Professionals and $350/team for all other entrants.

The Generation Cup finalists from each location will come together in May of 2026 to compete for a Grand Prize at the National Championship.
