Tom Fazio, legendary golf course architect, designed the Canyons course at Barton Creek Resort. Fazio Canyons is recognized as the first resort course in Texas designated as an Audubon International Signature Sanctuary and Certified Signature Sanctuary. The award winning Fazio Canyons offers several scenic holes lined with Red Oaks, Sycamore trees and views of Short Springs Branch, a limestone bed creek that travels through the course. Crenshaw Cliffside
Texas native Ben Crenshaw and his partner Bill Coore are responsible for the design of the Crenshaw Cliffside course. Crenshaw’s design highlights rolling terrain and incorporates the natural environmentally sensitive areas. Crenshaw Cliffside utilizes Bermuda 419 on fairways and Champions Bermuda on the greens that make the resort course drought and heat tolerant, necessary for the hot and humid conditions in Austin, Texas. The Cliffside course showcases large, undulating greens that will challenge even the most skilled putters. Cliffside plays to a par 71 and moderate 6,630 yards from the championship tees.
Palmer Lakeside
Designed by the King, Arnold Palmer, the Palmer Lakeside course plays to a par 71 and 6,407 yards from the back tees. The Palmer Lakeside course is known as a fun layout for all players and begs golfers to grip it and rip it. The signature 11th hole is a beautiful par 3 surrounded by a waterfall and native flora. The Palmer Lakeside course is considered one of the most beautiful courses in Texas.
