When you have old golf equipment, what do you do? You repurpose it, of course, and give it a second life as something else. Here are seven ideas on how to re-use and upcycle old clubs, balls, tees, and more.

#1. Donate

There are plenty of places to donate your unbroken used equipment. Charitable organizations such as Goodwill, The Salvation Army, Savers, and a host of others accept such equipment and sell them in their stores. The money raised from these sales is used to fund projects and services for people all over the country and around the globe.

You can also choose to donate used equipment to organizations such as The First Tee, which is a charity that teaches youth to golf. These programs help kids from all walks of life learn skills, teamwork, responsibility, and accountability while learning to love the challenge of golf.

#2. Classy Coat Hooks

Golf Clubs

Clubs with broken handles can be turned into classy coat hooks. Select three or more clubs, remove the shaft above the ferule, and attach the club head by the ferule to an attractively stained or painted block of wood. Hang hats and coats on the club heads. Find a great example here.

Alternatively, you can also use the grips in the same manner, but hang the resulting coat hook above head height to avoid any accidents.

#3. Golf Club Fence
