PGA TOUR, Omaha Productions and ShipSticks have teamed up to bring fans Alter Ego, a new unscripted comedy series starring Wyndham Clark in its first episode. As Variety shared in its announcement of the series, Alter Ego takes professional golfers out of their familiar competitive environment and gives fans a different look at the personalities behind the players.

Across the episode, Wyndham undergoes a full transformation before stepping onto the course alongside unsuspecting golfers. The disguise may be convincing, but hiding his knowledge of the game, competitive instincts and personality proves considerably harder.

Wyndham Clark Becomes Rex Tanner

In the first episode, Wyndham Clark disappears behind the mustache, wardrobe and wonderfully questionable teaching methods of Rex Tanner.

Posing as an unconventional golf instructor, Rex works with unsuspecting players and offers a coaching experience unlike anything they signed up for. Wyndham fully commits to the character, creating a mix of awkward introductions, unexpected advice and genuinely funny interactions as everyone tries to figure out exactly what Rex is all about.

As the episode unfolds, the clues begin to surface. When Wyndham finally reveals the professional golfer behind the character, an already memorable round becomes a story the group will be telling for years.

A Different Way to Experience the PGA TOUR

At its core, Alter Ego is about seeing professional golfers in a completely different setting.

The series brings together PGA TOUR access, Omaha Productions’ sports storytelling and ShipSticks’ connection to the way golfers travel. It gives Wyndham the freedom to step outside the ropes, have fun with the game and create genuine moments with golfers who have no idea what is coming.

ShipSticks helped support the journey by getting the players’ clubs where they needed to be, safely and on time. Because even when everything else about your identity changes, showing up without your golf clubs is a dead giveaway.
